So hold on to me, pretty baby, if you want to fly.

Last night I went to a party at Dani's house. It was a Halloween/band party. Since we all thought we'd be in Louisville this weekend for semi-finals and finals no one had plans for Halloween. Well, when we didn't get into semi-finals (you had to be in the top eight to move on; we were ninth by 0.39 points) everyone's weekend plans kind of died. So Dani had a party at her house. She invited the whole band, but it was only really our extended group of friends that showed up, which is just fine with me, because I was rather dreading the party when I thought the whole band was going to be there. Guests included: me, Shelby, Hayley, Megan, Lizz, Eli, Kyle, Kelcey, Jurlene, Seagram, Savannah, Corey, Mr. and Mrs. O., my mom and brother, and of course Dani, Alex, and their parents. Pictures shall be up when I stop being lazy and get them off the camera. It was pretty fun. Jurlene, Seagram, Kelcey, and Kyle left kind of early. Then Savannah, Alex, and Eli went outside to play in the dark. Dani, Hayley, Shelby, Lizz, and I went inside and watched Disney movies: Aladdin, The Return of Jafar, and Sleeping Beauty--all movies the five of us hadn't seen in forever. It was a pretty fun night, and I have to admit, I'm glad I went. Oh, and we wore costumes, too. That was pretty cool. I was afraid I'd get there and no one would be wearing theirs, so I took mine in a bag and just wore my normal clothes, but when I got there Megan, Jurlene, Dani, Alex, Hayley, Shelby, and Savannah were all dressed up. So I changed.

And today I have to go to another party: my great-grandmother turns 90 on Tuesday, so they're having a birthday tea or something for her today. My mom's supposed to be there at 11:30 to help my grandmother decorate. I'm not even getting ready until I go to my grandparents' house: I'll take my shower and get dressed there, because it's just too early right now to get ready for a party that doesn't start until 2:00. Pictures of today will also be up when I stop being lazy.
